About New Day

New Day church was started on September 11, 2005 by Lloyd and Brenda Rindels. The Rindels have lived in the Kansas City area since 1989 and the were part of the leadership team of Metro Christian Fellowship from 1990 through 2004.  During the years 1993 through 2004 they directed the Masters Commission program at MCF. 

After returning from ministry in Northern Ireland in May 2005 they felt the Lord invite them to start New Day.

New Day assembled quickly to be a local body of believers in Jesus Christ and His gospel message. Their community is based around the Gospel message through the frame work of the Great Commandment found in Mark 12:30-31 and the Great Commission Jesus invited His followers to obey in Matthew 28: 19-20.

Lloyd and Brenda along with the rest of the leadership teams and people of New Day desire to be people who are passionate in their faith, disciplined in their pursuit of scripture, compassionate in how they relate to others, and devout in their worship of God.
